Lesson Plans

2. Students will demonstrate their understanding of writing a narrative. They will read a passage and write a narrative from a different persons point of view remembering to include all the required components of narrative writing. 
3.  Mrs. Nicole, 4H Agent, will be here this week to teach speech writing.
4. Students will be writing a speech to present October 18th. 
5. Fun Friday--Students need to bring money to participate in the Fun Friday games and activities.  There will be some free fun going on.

1. No DGP this week due to having two days off--Tuesday for Election Day and Friday for Veterans Day. 
2. Students will write and present their 4-H speech in class for a grade.
3. Students will earn a grade in the following areas for their speech:
     a. Presentation of the speech.
     b. Written speech (handwritten or typed--student choice)
     c. Hamburger Graphic Organizer outlining the topic, main points and conclusion/summary.
     d. Notecards serve as memory pegs to help the speaker stay on track and include all the main points of the speech.  No complete sentences allowed on the notecards.  Include sentence starters, key points, etc. only. 
4. Speeches will be presented on Thursday, 11/10/22, and all work will be handed in on the same date.
