             Welcome to 2nd grade at HES! I am thrilled to have your child in my class! In 2nd grade, we practice and focus on becoming more fluent in our reading and math skills. I have high expectations for my students, because I believe in them. I commit myself to doing whatever is necessary for my students in order for them to be successful in my classroom. I hope to have your support this year. A strong parent / teacher relationship is an essential key to your child's success. A few ways we can stay connected is through your child's Boomerang Binder, ClassDojo, and weekly newsletters. Please check your child's binder nightly for important information, homework, etc. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
