Voluntary Pre-K Program
Kick-Off Night
WHEN: Thursday, March 7th from 4:30-6:00
WHERE: At the school of your choice (AH Roberts, Allons, Hilham, Rickman, Wilson)
WHO: VPK serves 3- and 4-year-old children (Must be 3 or 4 by August 15th) First priority is given to children who are income eligible, and 4-years old.
Transportation is available for Pre-K students whose route will not exceed 30 minutes. We will not be able to transport students in Pre-K that ride the bus for more than 30 minutes.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
- Proof of income for everyone in the household (A list of approved types of proof for income are listed on the website, oc-sd.com).
- Copy of Original Birth Certificate (NOT Mother's Copy)
- Certificate of Immunization (shots must be on the state form)
- Current Physical (must not be over a year old)
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Proof of residency (must prove you reside at the location - current utility bill, land tax, mortgage statement or notarized letter from landlord)
Applications will be available on the website beginning Thursday, March 7th. They will also be available at the schools on ick-off night. Completed applications will be taken at the March 7th kick-off and then anytime thereafter at the schools or central office.
