Mission Statement:

Overton County Schools believe that learning starts before a child begins kindergarten.  We believe that parents are their child's first teacher and a vital part of their child's learning.  Our mission is to prepare children and their families for kindergarten.  The first 5 years of a child's life is the time when most development takes place and the foundation for learning is established. 

OCS Voluntary Pre-K Kick Off Night will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026. This will be held at each school:

AH Roberts, Allons, Hilham, Rickman, or Wilson from 4:30-6:00. 

VPK serves 4-year-old children. Your child must 4 by August 15th. First priority enrollment in VPK will be given to children who are income eligible, and 4 years old.
